Favourite Documentaries…

I have a hard time watching documentaries, not because they aren’t interesting, but something with my attention span makes it hard for me to watch them. Or, maybe it’s just flashbacks to being in school and being parked in front of a really dull video while the teacher slept/took a smoke break/read a book/went to McDonald’s or whatever else they got up to behind their desk or at some undisclosed out-of-classroom location. Usually, I find it easier to read a book on the subject than watch the video.

But, re: documentaries I like history, educational reform, historical mysteries, ancient history, UFOs, space/physics, environmental causes, animals…feel free to make recommendations/share your favourites in the comments!

Here’s some of my favourites:

Cosmos with Neil DeGrasse Tyson

Dirty Wars

Waiting for Superman

War on Kids

Super Size Me & 30 Days

Ones on my to-watch list:

Particle Fever

Secrets: Richard III Revealed

Secrets of Henry the VIII’s Palace (PBS)
