Touring Scotland and Outlander Tours with Carnegie Touring…

The owner of Carnegie Tours had been interested in the history of the 1903 opera house in Dunfermline, Scotland, whose interior ended up in the Asolo Theatre in Sarasota, Florida. (http://asolorep.org/about/theatres-stages) In a roundabout sort of way, that’s how I discovered these tours Gerry McMullan runs, in Scotland.

Unfortunately, I can only dream of taking a tour with his touring company. They not only offer great historical tours, but also “Outlander” tours (in case you don’t know about the series, the tour covers locations used in the film adaptations of the notable Outlander books written by Diana Gabaldon). If you have the wherewithal, I would encourage people to take one of these private tours–they look amazing!
